WOW I have been up to A LOT

We have been up to soo much these past monts. We have moved back to MI(due to some family Issues mostly with Gavin's older brother and our visits with him So Their daddy has lots of court dates and then Nana had her knee replaced and is not doing to well with it)

Mommy has gotten out her sewing machines and is back into the swing of thing. Making all kind's of stuff. She hope to one day soon follow her dream and open up a store. So she can share her great stuff with the world..

Here is some of the cool things she has been making for me and my family.

Almost 5 Months old

Where did my tiny baby boy go??? Gavin is now rolling both ways sitting up and trying to crawl. He is HUGE LOL

17lbs and 28 ins long all on mommy milk :) He just loves to nurse. He is cutting his 2 bottom teeth and I can see one trying to poke through.

We found a great cover to use with our cloth diapers. http://hyenacart.com/BerryImperfectDesigns/ This is a great WAHM and her Covers ROCK :)

Gavin is still in her smalls but We are moving up a size and I just placed an order and cant wait to get them

So check her out mommy's they fit my Chunky Monkey perfect and we even used them during our move and NO LEAKS they washed up great at the hotels and dried super fast!!!!

Wow soo much going on soo little time

Gavin is now 3 months old and he is getting sooo big. Last month his daddy took a job in AZ and is planning on moving us down there. I cant wait!!!! NO MORE SNOW!!!! the only thing that totally sucks is my family is all here so My mommy(AKA NANA) will be far away.

Ok as for my not so lil man Gavin, He is 16lbs and 28ins long. He is now a bunch of smiles and giggles. He loves anything that has to do with music and animals. Gosh he has now become his own lil person with likes and dislikes. He loves the bath(and not the baby bath tub) he has to be in the big bath tub where he will wiggle all around and splash all over. Every chance he gets he is standing up and trying sooo hard to roll over when he is on his tummy or back.

One Month Old

I cant believe how fast these past 4 weeks have flown by. My baby boy is now a month old. 4 weeks ago I was blessed to give birth to a perfect angel. He is now smiling and cooing. He loves to look at his self in a mirror. He loves his mommy soo much. Every time I come into a room and just call his name he gets the biggest smile on his face. I love to just sit and watch him sleep. I wish I knew what he was dreaming about. I love the smiles he gives while nursing. Its soo funny to watch and see milk run out of his mouth. Those are the times when I wish I could make time stand still. I want him to stay lil and new, but at the same time I was to watch and see him learn and discover the world around him.

There is some pretty crappy stuff going on right now. and he seems to make most of it go away when I cuddle with him.

Today we spend most of the day with Papa Stew. It was the 1st time Link(my dad's 4 legged baby) met Gavin. Link was great with him. He didnt quite understand that Gavin is still a baby and cant play ball yet LOL. He kept bring Gavin his ball and looking at him Like ok toss it for me. He was very protective of him. Every lil squeak or cry he was right there sitting next to him and looking to make sure he was OK. He did over love him a bit kissing him. but its OK, nothing a lil bit of baby bath cant get off

On the 20th of December, Gavin was welcomed into the Jewish community by having his Bris Milah and His Naming . Now I know most people these days are keeping their boys natural and not having a CircumcisionYou have to understand that even thou we are not super religious. My bubby(grandma) wanted soo bad to have her great grandchildren brought up Jewish. So to Honor her wishes( she passed away in 04) we had Gavin's bris and naming during a very small family ceremony on the 20th. It was beautiful. My daddy and sister had the highest honors. And Gavin was named after 2 of the men in my life I miss the most. My grandfather's Irvin and Joe.

Bris Milah Judaism views body and soul as holy partners in serving G-d. Therefore, the bris is performed on the most physical part, for all of man is holy before his Creator. Bris Milah joins the forces of body and soul together in serving G-d


The naming of the childis the most emotional part of many bris ceremonies. Ashkenazic-European Jews have the custom of naming after the deceased. The immortalizing of a close relative or friend is a beautiful tradition. Sephardic Jews have the tradition to name after the living. A child may have one or more names, in accordance with the parents' desires

3 weeks old

Yesterday Gavin was 3 weeks old. Where did the past 3 weeks go??? He has had sooo many 1st these past 3 weeks. Today he played on the flood for 15 minutes looking at his self in his mirror and he started to laugh and smile. A real SMILE yesterday. He has had his 1st Xmas, and New Years. Along with his Bris and Naming ceremony. He was born on the last night of Hanukkah. He will be raised Jewish but He will know about Easter and Christmas along with Santa. We are a blended family.
